Our MFA Creative team rebranded and designed the childrens' zoo at Zoo Atlanta.

The project included in-depth research, vistor journey, sign schedules, site maps, elevation renderings, testing, and prototyping.

Between 2016 and 2020, I was responsible for designing Adult Swim's digital materials for San Diego Comic-Con. This included designing online advertising, developing a website that could also be downloaded as an HTML app, and creating emails to keep attendees up to date on the event schedule.

In order to promote the event, I took the responsibility of designing and coding HTML emails. Additionally, I created a template system for social media and email, which allowed the onsite staff to make quick updates in case there were any changes in the schedule.

This is an MFA-level project to design a themed entertainment exhibition concept and wayfinding system. Although the project objective was only to generate a sign schedule and concept sketches for signage, with permission, I took it further to experiment with generative AI's ability to create concept renderings from traditionally drawn elevations of signage, wayfinding, and scenic decoration.

I created all the sketches and elevations by hand, then used AI models in Midjourney, Runway, and OpenArt, including Nano and Seedance, to generate concept art and test their rendering capabilities.
The results of this exploration were mixed. Generative AI offered some speed and control, but the outputs still had a visual AI vibe.
This is where my expertise and Photoshop skills helped elevate the final concept art to a professional level, strengthening the project’s overall outcome.

As an extension of the Innsmouth Experience, I expanded the concept for one of the attraction's main experiences.

The Gilman House is the main entry point to the four haunts. Here, guests visit the bar and are prepped for the experience by in-character actors.

This Jane Goodall exhibit explores our deep connection to our closest primate relative. The exhibit is designed to be both an educational and cultural experience of the chimpanzees in Gombe, Tanzania.

Colors, patterns from nature, and human hands shown in the exhibit define our connection to chimpanzees and nature itself.
