Scott Banks
is a creative obsessed with branding, design, packaging, social, motion, and typography

Whether it's updating the look of Superman for DC Comics, rebranding product lines for Coca-Cola, directing movie titles for CARE International, or developing a growth strategy for a filmmaking summer camp, for over fifteen years I've helped companies large and small solve some of their most complex marketing challenges with award-winning creative solutions that get results.

From creative direction to branding to design, I've delivered hundreds of projects on budget and on time. Below are case studies highlighting my leadership, a few fantastic projects I'm proud to have been part of, and some other goodies thrown in for good measure.

About

I’m a multi-faceted Creative Director and Senior Designer with certification in Adobe Creative Suite, in-depth experience in UX / UI, and a deep history in client service and communications. I'm known for exceptional empathy, solving the correct problems, and building great teams.

My professional background includes over fifteen years as a Creative Director and Senior Designer in traditional and digital media. I have an unusually long and diverse range of award-winning creative skills, including design, copywriting, illustration, animation, typography, UX/UI, and web development.

I have over ten years of project management and have led the delivery of hundreds of assignments. These include stakeholder pitches, branding, product packaging, 360 campaigns, end-to-end design solutions, and websites, including many award-winning solutions.

As a leader in the field of design, I’m a firm believer in the value of mentorship and education. I serve on the AIGA-ATL mentorship committee and as an adjunct instructor at the internationally recognized Miami Ad School, teaching Adobe Creative Suite, typography, and interactive design.

When I have a minute, I create and sell fonts and limited-edition dinosaur model kits online. In addition, I’m constantly exploring new technologies, media, and innovative means of expression.
